Located in the town hall of Castro de Rei, province of Lugo, 23 km northeast of the capital of Lugo, we find the Castro de Viladonga.
The site is an example of outstanding settlement, especially between the 2nd and 5th centuries AD, very important for the knowledge, study and understanding of the Castro world after the Roman conquest.
In the castro, archaeological work continues periodically, both in terms of excavation and cleaning and consolidation.
